Have you ever cast a tree for a production?

We have.

In early summer, the nurseries are the best place to be. But finding the right height, the perfect “crown”, the head or shape of the tree, and the correct leaves which will cast a pristine and undeniable leaf shadow on the pavement, is a shockingly difficult find. Now, the root ball. Do you have any idea how heavy a root ball can be? Hint: it’s heavier than you would imagine. After 6 days of searching, we found our hero. We placed it in the 3rd lane of traffic in downtown Chicago, and created our own “tree lined street”. Come on, it’s not the first time we’ve turned heads while on location.
